| 1994 | BLANCO’s 25 millionth domestic sink rolls off the production line. The Sinsheim factory is the first part of the company to be certified in accordance with ISO 9002. Introduction of the first BLANCO Company Guidelines as the basis of the company philosophy. In the Czech Republic, the sales operation located in Prague and the production operation in Fry´dek-Místek are divided into two independent GmbHs (limited liability companies). The limited partner capital increases as a result of contributions from E.G.O. Elektrogeräte AG, Zug, by DM 15m to DM 39m. It now has nearly 70 % of the company shares. |
| 1993 | In April, Mr Frank Straub, the grandson of the company founder, becomes managing partner and takes over the chairmanship of the managing directors |
| 1990 | In February, a new location with sales office is established in Berlin-Spandau. The aim is to exploit the opportunities arising from the reunification of Germany. By taking over the production and distribution of plate stackers and crockery conveyor belts from Welbilt, BLANCO is able to extend its product range for Food Service Equipment. In the same year, BLANCO takes over the approx. 2,700 m² production plant from Klais in Speyer. In spring, a new production shop for the production of composite sinks is able to go into operation in Sinsheim, close to the main warehouse. Canada gets its own distribution facilities. In Switzerland, BLANCO AG is founded as a distribution company. |
| 1990/92 | Above-average growth and record turnovers in all three product divisions. The growth is achieved principally in Germany and especially as a result of success in the newly-formed German states. The total number of employees rises to over 1,500. |
| 1989 | At the beginning of April, the new information centre with exhibition and training rooms is opened. A further 5,000 m² shop is finished in Plant III. All three product divisions are very successfully expanding. The number of employees has risen to around 1,400. Exports achieve a share of over 30 %. |
| 1988 | Food Serving Equipment and Medical Engineering move into a new 5,000 m² shop in Plant III in Oberderdingen. Distribution company founded in the USA. The 20 millionth sink is dispatched in spring. The Food Serving Equipment Division (now Catering Systems) becomes one of the leading suppliers in Europe. The system concept leads to the development of “Domino”, the new mobile food serving programme. |
| 1987 | The BLANCO Group changes its name: the “BLANCO” trademark which was introduced on a global basis is transferred to the company name BLANCO GmbH + Co KG. BLANCO takes control of Foster Beard PLC, London. |

| 1985 | The new press shop in Sulzfeld covering an area of approx. 1,100 m² goes into operation. In Sinsheim, a central warehouse occupying around 10,000 m² is opened. The BLANCOMULTI-BOX, a global innovation with integrated waste solution, becomes a real winner. BLANCO also devotes itself to the development of high-quality operating tables and has a share in Protesi in Trento/Italy. From small, manually operated operating tables to mobile microprocessor-controlled tables, BLANCO provides a complete range to meet the requirements of all the disciplines of modern medicine. Production of the BMT 300 operating table and an extension table in Oberderdingen provide BLANCO Medical Engineering with a brisk upturn in business. |
| 1984/87 | BLANCO’s former distribution companies in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy and Austria become independent importers as part of a buy-out programme. |
